The 22 year- old joined the Porcupine Warriors prior to the start of the 2020/22 season after an impressive spell with Berekum Chelsea, and contributed in winning the Ghana Premier League last year to end their almost eight year abeyance.

However, Amankona has struggled to command much playing time since his arrival and he also having serious disciplinary issues.

He made only six appearance so far in the ongoing season with a goal to his belt one red which happened against Bechem United.

According to multiple reports, Kotoko have added Amankona to players they will loan at the moment and the Bono’s Pride has already expressed their interest in their former captain and are willing to sign him in the ongoing transfer window.
