Ghana‘s gold industry is set for a major shake-up and transformation as parliament has passed the Ghana Gold Board Act. The Act is currently awaiting the assent of President John Dramani Mahama. The Gold Board Act, when implemented, will effectively replace the Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC) with the newly established Gold Board.
