Accra, Ghana — Zimbabwean sisters Kudzai Erin Patience Chapepa and Kuzivaishe Chapepa have reached the Girls’ Doubles final of the World Tennis Tour Juniors J100 Accra – Tennis Foundation Ghana Open, where they will face top seeds Milana Kolesova of Russia and Alisha Ndukwu of Poland.
The Chapepa sisters secured their place in the final with a commanding 6-0, 6-2 victory over Sonny Agnamba of the United States and Gurleen Kaur Khanuja of India.

The Zimbabwean pair produced a strong performance from the start, taking the opening set without dropping a game before maintaining their momentum in the second set to complete a straight-sets victory.
Their opponents in the final, Kolesova and Ndukwu, also produced a composed performance to book their place in the championship match.
The top-seeded Russian-Polish combination defeated Pippa Fennis of the Netherlands and Jiwon Hwang of South Korea 7-5, 6-4 in their semi-final.

The contrasting routes to the final set up an intriguing title clash, with the Chapepa sisters looking to continue their impressive run while Kolesova and Ndukwu will enter the final as the tournament’s No. 1 seeds.
The Girls’ Doubles final will form part of the closing stages of the J100 tournament at the National Tennis Centre in Accra, bringing together players from different countries on the international junior circuit.
The World Tennis Tour Juniors provides young players with opportunities to compete internationally and earn ranking points as they develop towards higher levels of competitive tennis.
The Tennis Foundation Ghana Open is being hosted by Tennis Foundation Ghana (TFG) under the auspices of the Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF), with the tournament attracting junior players from Ghana, Africa and beyond.
The final promises another international contest as the Chapepa sisters take on the top-seeded pairing of Kolesova and Ndukwu for the J100 Girls’ Doubles title in Accra.
