Ghana Card Fees in Ghana

Ghana Card Fees in Ghana: Registration, Replacement, Renewal and Other Charges

The cost of a Ghana Card depends entirely on where you go and what service you need. The National Identification Authority (NIA) runs a two-tier system: standard District Offices, which are heavily subsidised, and optional Premium or Prestige Centres, which charge significantly higher fees for faster, appointment-based service. Here is the complete breakdown of the 2026 fees, which took effect on February 2, 2026.

Standard District Office Fees

These are the regular NIA offices found across the country. This is the most affordable route for most Ghanaians.
