One of Ghana’s 16 administrative regions is the Greater Accra Region. With a population of more than 7 million, it is the most populated region in the country and is situated in the southern part of the country. Accra serves as both the country’s capital and the main city in the region.

Tema is also another further significant city in the region. In addition to being a significant business and industrial hub, the area is widely recognized for its beaches, marketplaces, and historical attractions.The region’s economy is built mostly on manufacturing and services.

The city of Accra serves as the administrative center and largest metropolis of Ghana. Geographically, it meets the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Guinea. Tourists visit the city to experience its rich history, diverse culture, and lively markets.

Independence Square, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, and Labadi Beach are just a few of Accra’s most visited attractions. Commercial, financial, and government activities all converge in Accra, making it a key economic hub for Ghana. Accra has a population of over 2,300,000 people.
