At the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, the 5th National Governance & Business Leadership Awards (NGBLA 2025) recognized over 45 Ghanaian executives and companies for outstanding performance in governance, innovation, and enterprise excellence.

Themed “Transforming Ghana through Visionary Governance and Enterprise Excellence,” the event, hosted by The Governance & Business Boardroom, spotlighted winners across banking, insurance, hospitality, technology, and manufacturing.

OmniBSIC Bank was named Best Indigenous Bank for its strong financial footing, while FirstBank Ghana secured Best CSR Bank Ghana for its community-focused initiatives. Guinness Ghana was recognized for innovation and enterprise growth, alongside firms such as Vanguard Assurance, Ghana Link Network Services, B5 Plus Limited, and Accra Marriott Hotel.

Sustainability and legal innovation also earned the spotlight: Helios Solar Company Limited was honored for solar energy solutions, while M&O Law Consult took the Real Estate Legal Excellence Award. The National Health Insurance Authority was celebrated for strengthening public service delivery.

On the individual front, Irene Baaba Hagan, Board Chair of GTBank Ghana, received the Visionary Woman Board Chair Award. Dr. Adelaide Araba Siaw Agyepong of the African Agribusiness Consortium was also honored for her leadership.

Speaking on behalf of the Chief of Staff, Nana Oye Bampoe Addo called for stronger collaboration between government and business to drive resilient institutions and attract investment.
