Description
Tema Station is one of the oldest and largest transit hubs located in the heart of Accra Central. Managed primarily by the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU), this highly active terminal services intra-city trotro routes to nearly every suburb in the capital. It also handles regional travel to towns like Ho, Ashaiman, and Tema. Nestled next to the ministries enclave, the station doubles as a bustling daily market filled with small retailers, vendors, and head potters (kayayei).
