Leading the pack of gainers was SIC Insurance Company Limited (SIC), which surged by GH¢0.02 (a 6.90% increase) to close at GH¢0.31 from its previous GH¢0.29. This marked the highest percentage gain of the day, further solidifying SIC’s positive momentum throughout the week.

Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) also recorded a GH¢0.02 increase, pushing its stock price to GH¢0.57, while Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) climbed to GH¢5.62, reflecting a slight but steady rise from GH¢5.60.

Another notable performer was NewGold ETF (GLD), which continued its upward movement, closing at GH¢440.00, a GH¢2.00 increase from the start of the week. Investors remained optimistic about its stability as a safe-haven asset.

However, not all stocks ended on a high note. MTN Ghana (MTNGH) emerged as the session’s only significant loser, shedding GH¢0.05 to close at GH¢2.85 from its previous GH¢2.90. The telecom giant saw heavy trading volumes throughout the week, with some investors opting to take profits.

Trading activity was particularly strong, with MTN Ghana leading in volume as 920,777 shares were exchanged. Other actively traded stocks included Ecobank Ghana (EGH) with 32,258 shares and Fan Milk Limited (FML) with 200,403 shares. The total value of shares traded stood at GH¢2.63 million, underscoring sustained investor interest.
