J100 Accra: Virani Faces Patel as Agarwal Meets Verma in Boys’ Semifinals

The boys’ singles title race at the J100 Accra tournament moves into the semifinal stage with two matchups set to determine the finalists. Zayyan Virani will face Dev Vipul Patel, while Mannan Ashok Agarwal takes on Om Verma, as the four players compete for places in the championship match in Accra.

Agarwal, seeded fifth, produced a composed performance to defeat Tunisia’s Ahmed Darmoul [2] 6-2, 6-4, earning his place in the last four.

Verma, meanwhile, battled past fourth seed David Beckles of the United States [4], recovering from losing the opening set to win 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.

With two places in the final at stake, the semifinals are set to provide another exciting chapter in the J100 Accra – Tennis Foundation Ghana Open.

The tournament is being staged at the National Tennis Centre in Accra from October 5–10, 2026, bringing together junior players from across the world in pursuit of World Tennis Tour points and the championship title.
