Rwandan Ambassador Engages Ghana’s Foreign Minister to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

In a bid to deepen diplomatic and economic cooperation, the Rwandan Ambassador to Ghana paid a courtesy call on Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.

The Ambassador of Rwanda to Ghana, Her Excellency Rosemary Mbabazi, has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. The meeting took place on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Discussions between the two dignitaries centred on strengthening bilateral cooperation in key sectors, including education, tourism, vaccine production, and cybersecurity. Both sides expressed optimism about expanding collaboration through established frameworks such as the Permanent Joint Commission for Cooperation (PJCC).

Mr Ablakwa and Ambassador Mbabazi reaffirmed their countries’ commitment to enhancing diplomatic ties and working together to support the broader development agenda of the African continent.

The visit underscores the growing partnership between Ghana and Rwanda and their shared vision for sustainable development across Africa.
