Accra — Rokmer Pharma Ltd., a growing player in Ghana’s pharmaceutical distribution sector, was among the industry stakeholders featured in the official brochure of the 38th Annual General Meeting of the Ghana Co-operative Pharmacists’ Credit Union Limited (GCPCU), to hold on Wednesday, 5th of June, 2025 at 4:00pm today, at the Accra Ridge Church (ARC) Conference Hall.
The event, which brought together licensed pharmacists, credit union executives, and healthcare supply chain professionals, focused on member growth, cooperative financing, and the evolving role of pharmaceutical cooperatives in Ghana’s health system. This year’s gathering came at a time of heightened attention to medicine affordability and local production.

Rokmer Pharma’s inclusion in the AGM brochure—a document circulated among more than 300 pharmacists and cooperative members—reflects its rising visibility in the retail and wholesale pharmaceutical space. While the company was not named among headline sponsors, its branding and product line were prominently displayed in a special feature section, positioning it alongside more established players in the field. The brochure segment included highlights of key therapeutic categories under Rokmer’s portfolio, which include essential over-the-counter medications, topical creams, and dietary supplements. According to sources familiar with the arrangement, the visibility was secured through collaborative engagement with the event’s organizing committee.
An executive at the company, speaking on background, said the recognition is “a quiet but meaningful step in deepening relationships with pharmacy cooperatives and frontline dispensaries.”
The AGM itself focused heavily on the need for innovation in pharmacist-led credit models, with the union reporting modest but steady asset growth despite broader inflationary pressures in the healthcare economy.
Industry observers noted the growing relevance of private suppliers such as Rokmer Pharma in shaping product availability and pricing across pharmacy networks. While no major policy announcements were made, the event offered a window into the alliances forming within Ghana’s fragmented pharmaceutical market.
The Ghana Co-operative Pharmacists’ Credit Union has served as a backbone for pharmacy professionals since the late 1980s, providing financial services, emergency loans, and educational grants to members. This year’s theme emphasized sustainability, governance, and technology adoption.
For newer companies like Rokmer, exposure at such events can help solidify their standing in an increasingly competitive and regulated market.
