Official: Accra Hearts of Oak SC Complete Surprise Signing

Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak have captured young winger, Clinton Appiah on a long term deal from lower division side Lazio FC, with official club announcement very imminent.

The 18 year old’s signing was recommended by current head coach Slavko Matic who was really impressed with the talent of the young sensation.

The ex- AshantiGold SC winger is joining the ‘Phobians’ on a five year deal and is willing to establish himself as a mainstay in the team with his great skill set and enviable final third decision ability.

Clinton Appiah becomes Hearts of Oak’s first signing in the January transfer window as they hope to make few more additions before deadline.

Hearts of Oak came from behind to beat Tamale City FC in a tough five goal thriller to climb to the second position on the league with 19 points.

They will face King Faisal in Kumasi on Thursday, January 12, 2023 in GPL match-week 12.
