Gwendolyn Klu and Winner Gakpo Reach J30 Accra Girls’ Doubles Final

Ghana’s Gwendolyn Duvor Klu and Togo’s Winner Gakpo reached the J30 Accra Girls’ Doubles final, where they faced top seeds Goodnews Eyinjuoluwa Aina of Nigeria and Shira Dvir of Israel. Klu and Gakpo advanced after a 6-1, 6-2 semifinal win over Success Godwin and Morgan Hsu

The final is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, at the National Tennis Centre at the Accra Sports Stadium, with play set to begin at 10:00 a.m.

Their opponents, top seeds Goodnews Eyinjuoluwa Aina of Nigeria and Shira Dvir of Israel, secured their place in the final with a convincing 6-2, 6-2 victory over Nigeria’s Omoyinka Ayinia and Nenrot Suwa, the No. 4 seeds.

The final promises to be an exciting contest, with the No. 1 seeds facing the No. 2 seeds for the J30 Accra Girls’ Doubles title.

The tournament is being organised by Tennis Foundation Ghana (TFG) under the auspices of the Ghana Tennis Federation.
