REPORT: Accra Hearts of Oak offload Eight Players

 Hearts of Oak are reportedly planning on clearing out eight players as the club seek to work with 26 players per Ghsportsnews.com’s source.

Coach Edward Nii Odoom has made a number of signings since taken over from Kim Grant, but he is expected to trim the squad as he continues with his rebuilding.

Our report further reveals that, the following players are likely to be maintained on the club’s books:

Goalkeepers: Ben Mensah, Richard Attah, Richmond Ayi and Richard Baidoo

Defenders: Fatawu Mohammed, Larry Sumaila Ibrahim, Radji Ovuoka, William Denkyi, Mohammed Alhasan, Nuru Suley, Robert Addo Sowah and Benjamin Agyare

Midfielders: Abdouramani Mamane Lawali, Benjamin Afutu Kortey, Emmanuel Nartey, Frederick Ansah Boctway, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen, Abdul Umar Manaf Guma and Daniel Kodie

Forwards: Kofi Kodzi, Esso Joseph, Abednego Tetteh, Danjuma Kuti, Kojo Obeng jnr, Daniel Afriyie Banieh and Mitchell Sarpong

However, the following players penciled to be transfer listed includes some big casualties as seen below:

James Sowernu, Anthony Quayson, Emmauel Mintah and Dominic Eshun.

However, the following players’ contacts are to be terminated by the club:

Christopher Bonney, Bernard Arthur, Abubakar Toara and Enock Addo.
