Playing at the impressive Borteyman Sports Complex in Accra, the Black Spikers showed resilience, character, and tactical discipline to overturn a two-set deficit in front of an enthusiastic home crowd.

The Ghanaian side endured a difficult start to the contest, dropping the first two sets to a determined Algerian team. Algeria took control early, winning the opening set 23-18 before dominating the second set 25-16, putting Ghana under immense pressure.

With the victory, Ghana advances to face Tunisia in the semi-final of the women’s indoor volleyball competition on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 2pm at the Borteyman Sports Complex.
