The team, announced on Friday, January 3, 2025, will officially begin its mandate on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
The team will be led by Prosper Douglas Bani, a former Minister for the Interior.
The other members include:
- Lt. General Peter Augustine Blay (Rtd.), former Chief of Defence Staff
- Kofi Totobi Quakyi, former Minister for National Security
- Larry Gbevlo-Lartey Esq., former National Security Coordinator
- Brigadier General Fuseini Iddrissu (Rtd.)
- COP Nathaniel Kofi Boakye (Rtd.)
In a statement signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Special Aide to the President-Elect, the team’s primary role is to ensure seamless coordination of national security operations during the transition period.
