In a heartwarming gesture that lit up the faces of both learners and facilitators, Futurestars Charity, in partnership with Brighton & Hove Albion FC and UK-based supporters, donated brand-new sports jerseys and tracksuits to Hulafau Basic School in the Kpandai District of Ghana’s Northern Region.

The symbolic donation, held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, was presented by Ghana Sports News through its Northern Regional Correspondent, Mr. Ganiwu Alhassan. For a school tucked away in one of Ghana’s underserved communities, this was more than just sportswear — it was a reminder that their efforts matter and that the world is watching.

“This is a rare act of kindness,” said Assistant Headmaster Mr. Andrews Atta, speaking on behalf of the school. “It’s the first time we’ve received support like this. It motivates our learners and reminds us that every child, no matter their location, deserves the opportunity to dream big and succeed.”

Mr. Ibrahim Osuman, Headmaster of Hulafau Basic School, offered prayers for the continued growth of Futurestars, expressing gratitude for what he described as a timely and morale-boosting intervention.

For Futurestars Charity, this is just one more chapter in its mission to drive impact through sports and education. “We believe in unlocking the full potential of young people, and sport is one of the most powerful tools to do that,” a representative from the charity shared.
