The Ghana Premier League will resume in 7 days. After several months, The 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season is set to kick off in 7 days with Techiman Eleven Wonders FC facing Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara stadium.

There’s not just bragging rights at stake for the new campaign, with teams looking to pick up a bigger slice of the financial pie when the new league season starts next weekend.

How Much Will The 2020-21 Premier League Winners Earn?

Winning the Ghana Premier League brings with it all sorts of concomitant financial rewards, but the immediate prize for the champions is currently in the region of $43,000.

The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku announced that the winner of the 2020/2021 GPL will receive a whopping sum of GHS250,000 as prize money.

For the second and third-place teams, they will also receive prize money of GHS150,000 and GHS80,000 respectively plus medals and a shopping voucher from Melcom.
