Achraf Hakimi equalised for Morocco in the 39th minute, but Haiti struck back almost instantly. Wilson Isidor unleashed a spectacular 25-yard rocket into the top-left corner, restoring Haiti’s lead before the break.
Ismael Saibari leveled the score just before halftime, sweeping Hakimi’s cutback into the net. With the game locked at 2-2 deep into the second half, head coach Mohamed Ouahbi made a tactical triple substitution. Soufiane Rahimi and Gessime Yassine both came off the bench to score clinical goals, breaking Haiti’s stubborn low-block.

Morocco dominated possession with 69 percent and registered 19 shots, 12 on target, while Haiti managed seven shots, two on target. Moroccan passing accuracy stood at 91 percent compared to Haiti’s 83 percent.
Saibari became the first Moroccan player to score in three consecutive World Cup matches at a single tournament. Despite the loss, Haiti managed to double their entire historical World Cup goal tally within the first 45 minutes.
