Galatasaray and Napoli have reached a verbal agreement over the transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, in what could be one of the most headline-grabbing moves of the summer window.
The Turkish champions will pay €40 million upfront, with an additional €35 million due within 12 months, taking the total fee to €75 million. Another €5 million will be made available through performance-related bonuses, particularly based on Osimhen’s goal contributions in Istanbul.
A clause in the agreement blocks a move to any Italian club for two years, a stipulation believed to be a safeguard for Napoli fans and a protective measure for the Serie A side’s domestic interests.

Furthermore, Napoli has secured 10% of any profit from a potential future sale, should Galatasaray decide to sell Osimhen onward.
The deal is reportedly at the final paperwork stage and could be made official within 24 hours. The signing is set to be a bold statement from Galatasaray as they look to strengthen their squad for a significant run in European competitions.
